How To Take Someone's Pulse

The normal pulse for an one-ten year old is 70-120 beats per minute.
To take someone's pulse you need a:

  • Clock
  • A sence of time
  • A person's arm or neck.
First you look at the clock, next you find where you can feel the persons heart beat ( some where close to the hand. Kinda on the wrist, or by there glands below them. ) Take two fingers and place them on the spot where you feel the pulse. Look at the clock and count how many beats you feel until a minute is up. That's how you take someone's pulse!

There's This ONE Dream...

There's this one dream that I always have. Or rather had.

DESCRIBING:  When I was little, I always had this one dream. I dreamed that my mom and I were playing in the ocean. So were other people. Then one BIG wave came. Every one was washed up and there was this little sand spot that I was left on. There was like an eighty foot high sand stair. Hard to describe, but everyone else was up there and I was the only one left down. Shudder.
DREAM: I looked up and I immediately squinted because of the sun. " Mom!!" I screamed. " Mom!!"  Her head appeared and I screamed mom a third time. She shook her head and disappeared. I started crying. " Don't leave me! Mom!! Please help me!!" My screams weren't loud and I was scared. A second big wave came, drowning me. I was left coughing, sputtering, crying, and screming "Mom!! Dad!! Please help me!!!!!! I need you!!"
A third big wave came and...

BACK THEN REALITY: I shot up in bed, scared. I didn't realize I was still in my dream when I called for my mom. " Mom!!!" I called. "Mom!!"  My chin trembled because I was scared she wouldn't help me. Wouldn't be there for me. I started crying and my tears weren't forced they just came. So did my mom.

     NOW: That was my dream.

A Long Time's Ago Fourth of July

Before I begin, let me tell you a before story. Sound good?
My siblings and I have had my best best best best friend since she was born.
She's nine months younger then me. Her younger brother is only a couple weeks older then my sister. Jaden's ( thats my bbbbf) youngest brother is like, two years younger then mine. They have a house in the country and we always go up there. Or we used to. One summer, we went up there for the Fourth of July. My dad and Jaden's mom stayed in the country house with Jaden's youngest brother and my brother. Jaden, Kai, ( Jaden's younger brother ) my sister Aerin, and I all were young and foolish. Also the tiniest bit clumsy.
We, Jaden, Kai, Aerin, my Mom, Jaden's Dad, and I went to go see the fireworks. First we all stopped to get ice cream. On our way back to the car, My Mom, and Kai fell behind. The rest of us kept walking towards the car. According to my mom Kai tripped over a hose and did a series of summer salts, while still holding his ice cream. Freeze. I know what you're thinking. He dropped his ice cream. Now lets go back to the story. While Kai was tumbling, he held his ice cream in the air and nothing spilt!!!
One of those miracle moments everyone hopes will happen to them.

The Whole Middle School Craziness

Some people may think that because I'm writing this post I am scared about what middle school I get into, which is a little true, but still. Aren't you kind of?
As my teacher says, May is a very emotional month. Every body is splitting up ad going there own ways. Okay, now I'm starting to sound like one of those talk shows I like to make fun of. Anywayz lots of my friends got excepted to East Side Middle yesterday. I still don't know if I'd rather go to Wagner S.P. or East Side. Crazy right?
And again I will quote my teacher Ms. Binkowitz. We all end up where we end up.

Homework

Whats the point of homework if you do the same thing in school??
It's a waste of time and if you really think about it, homework just creates more work for the teachers. Come on. If it's a nice day out, do you really want to be inside grading homework? Do you really think WE want to be inside??

Feeling Sick...

Have you ever eaten something and then felt like you wanted to vomit after wards?
I get that feeling a lot. Recently I ate something and I ate the rest of it. I feel very sick now. Actually this could probably be solved with water... but my point is that some things won't have the solution right in front of them. Sometimes you need to search. A lot of people realize that when it's to late. I don't know who DOESN'T get that feeling every once in a while but I get it almost daily. Talk about annoying.

A Certain Person

Lately I have been hating a lot of people. One person recently got on my nerves.
She made it into my people I hate box. I only have a people I hate box because my sister was to cheap to buy me something from a store. Anywayz that box has come in handy on countless occasions. Right now I'd like to throw something at her. I hope it hits her. Then there's another girl and we haven't had such a pleasant year together. At all. She also had the achievement of getting into my people I hate box. The same day we stopped fighting. Bravo. Excellent achievement. Normally people clap when someone does something like getting the best grades ever or getting the highest score on a test. Or even when you blow out the candles at your sweet sixteen. I applaud stupidness.

Things I Hate # 2

  • My new table
  • Assigned seating
  • Homework
  • People who try to worm things out of you
  • People who think there making the problem better when there making it worse
  • Adults that snoop
  • People who annoy me
  • People who lie right to my face
  • A lot of people
  • The computer I'm writing on
  • People who accuse you
  • When my siblings turn the music really high
  • When I miss a call
  • People who say there busy so they don't have to hang out with you

Daniella, in Honor of Mother's Day

Daniella is my awesome some baby-sitter who's like an older sister to me.
She's been baby-sitting us since I was five. She is funny, smart, talented, and a little bit crazy. She is the best. I wish we could spend much more time together. ( This is for you, D. )
Yes we can! It is not going much further than that.  :  )

Copying is the Sincerest Form of Flattery, NOT!!!!!!

This post is about people, who no matter how hard they try, cannot be themselves. Say you take up a hobby or whatever and then you tell your friend about it. A couple days later you go over to your friends house and she says " hey! I have a new hobby! Cooking!" Which, by the way was YOUR hobby. It is so annoying. Certain People believe that copying is the sincerest form of flattery. They are absolutely wrong.  Parents or other grownups are absolutely wrong.

Doing Things Your Parents Want to do on the Weekend

My parents are forcing me my sister and brother to go to some place Pocantico Hills. Not my idea of fun. I have an hours worth of homework to do to practice for the silly test coming up. It seems all we have is ELA homework. I'm at the point where I'd rather do math!! Anywayz Pocantico Hills is some naturey place where you walk like a total of two miles to get something to eat and along the way you see nature and animals as my parents put it. I personally don't want to walk a stinkin two miles to get my Snapple. Or to use the bathroom. My allergies are bad enough in the city, what are they gonna be like out there?
