Homework? In the Summer?!?

Ok.  It's already bad enough that I have to go to the beach everyday, but I have to write three book reports??? In the summer?? Can't the teachers save it for at least the second month of the school year?
If were doing work in the summer it's technically NOT the summer anymore.

Weird enough... it seems I'm the only person who got the e-mail!
I hate school.

How the Fourth of July Weekend Went

Well.
The weekend wasn't SO bad. The pool was warm.
We went kayaking in the bay. I saw a dead fish floating at the surface.
I then saw a bunch of plastic. I also learned that when your kayaking, it's probably best you don't zone out, 'cause when I did that? My thumb was very bruised considering the fact that the very heavy kayak paddle squished my thumb in between it and the kayak. I put my finger in the water and immediately pulled it out, I had been bitten.
I still like kayaking. The breakfast consisted of chocolate chip muffins, bagels, orange juice, and hot chocolate.
I saw a bunch of ants. The place was very old so alot of the doors had space underneath them that bugs, (big AND little) could get through.
We went into the town and through bread to the geese. My sister lost her flip flop down by the geese, (there was this board walk thing and the geese were like twenty feet below it,) which I thought was very funny.
Over all, I've had worse Fourth of July's, and way waaaay better.

Fourth of July... This Year

This year for the Fourth of July, instead of going to Jaden and Kai's country house, we are going to Long Island. I hope I get to go kayaking, if you've ever been kayaking. you know why. I hope that if I go with my dad instead of my mom, he doesn't go to far out like he did last time. I was really freaked out because there was a storm coming in and I was six years old!! Needless to say, I was scarred in a way that I will ALWAYS be freaked out.

Be sure to check back soon for more posts on how the weekend went!!!

Wasn't as Bad...

The dance wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. It was actually pretty fun. The first hour was lame and then everyone got warmed up. I was being forced to dance and I gave in. We all (boys AND girls) formed this HUGE circle and we started pulling each other. Then part of the circle broke off and those people formed another circle. Later we made "conga lines" and we were running around. I wish the dance could have gone on longer.

Middle School

Remember my post of the whole middle school craziness? Well I ended up at Wagner. Now you know.

One Night...........

BACK STORY: My sister Aerin, is a scaredy cat and goes to sleep in my parents room every night at around the middle of the night. Four years ago, I was OBSESSED with Webkinz. My parents were trying to get Aerin to sleep in her own bed. So they went to me for help. I, of course said OK. Now I will tell you about one night four years ago when Aerin was scared and came into my bed.

THAT NIGHT FOUR YEARS AGO: "Sarah?
"Yeah?" I responded to her. "Can I come in your bed?" I thought it over. "I guess," I muttered. I scooched over and  she plopped down her pillow and  then her bear. I scooted over. She pulled the covers, all of them over herself. I yanked them back. She yanked them. This went on for twenty minutes.

THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT: The man under the bed was making Webkinz as fast as he could, attaching codes to them and throwing them through the railings of my bed. Suddenly my dream changed. A cop was about to shoot me. "Please. No." I pleaded. "Please!" I cried. Suddenly something hit me in the stomach. And hard. I started crying. I saw a small shape run into my parents room. "Mom!" I screamed and the tears started. "What, what?" She asked, looking concerned. I was out of breath. "My stomach," I said breathing heavily. I looked over. "Where's Aerin?"
My mom put the pieces together. "Aerin probably stepped on your stomach." That wrenched thing... I thought. "It hurts," I whined. "I know." My mom said. "I had a dream right before this..."

The Dance

Because the fifth graders are graduating there's some kinda dance that's supposedly cool. OK.... everyone is either looking for a date, has a date, isn't sure if they have a date, or don't want a date. I'm pretty sure that the boys are gonna stand on one side of the room and that the girls are gonna stand on the other. Wonderful. I don't want to waste time that I could be spending working on one of the many pieces I have to complete for the stupid independent writing project looking for a dress to wear to the dance.

Weird Enough...

Because were in fifth grade, there's an end of the year dance.
Sadly enough the girls have to ask the boys. You know why?
There CHICKEN!!
If the boys ask the girls it's on dare. Even then they don't ask.
Strangly enough the girls will.
This just proves boys are scaredy-cats or whatever.

How To Take Someone's Pulse

The normal pulse for an one-ten year old is 70-120 beats per minute.
To take someone's pulse you need a:

  • Clock
  • A sence of time
  • A person's arm or neck.
First you look at the clock, next you find where you can feel the persons heart beat ( some where close to the hand. Kinda on the wrist, or by there glands below them. ) Take two fingers and place them on the spot where you feel the pulse. Look at the clock and count how many beats you feel until a minute is up. That's how you take someone's pulse!

There's This ONE Dream...

There's this one dream that I always have. Or rather had.

DESCRIBING:  When I was little, I always had this one dream. I dreamed that my mom and I were playing in the ocean. So were other people. Then one BIG wave came. Every one was washed up and there was this little sand spot that I was left on. There was like an eighty foot high sand stair. Hard to describe, but everyone else was up there and I was the only one left down. Shudder.
DREAM: I looked up and I immediately squinted because of the sun. " Mom!!" I screamed. " Mom!!"  Her head appeared and I screamed mom a third time. She shook her head and disappeared. I started crying. " Don't leave me! Mom!! Please help me!!" My screams weren't loud and I was scared. A second big wave came, drowning me. I was left coughing, sputtering, crying, and screming "Mom!! Dad!! Please help me!!!!!! I need you!!"
A third big wave came and...

BACK THEN REALITY: I shot up in bed, scared. I didn't realize I was still in my dream when I called for my mom. " Mom!!!" I called. "Mom!!"  My chin trembled because I was scared she wouldn't help me. Wouldn't be there for me. I started crying and my tears weren't forced they just came. So did my mom.

     NOW: That was my dream.

A Long Time's Ago Fourth of July

Before I begin, let me tell you a before story. Sound good?
My siblings and I have had my best best best best friend since she was born.
She's nine months younger then me. Her younger brother is only a couple weeks older then my sister. Jaden's ( thats my bbbbf) youngest brother is like, two years younger then mine. They have a house in the country and we always go up there. Or we used to. One summer, we went up there for the Fourth of July. My dad and Jaden's mom stayed in the country house with Jaden's youngest brother and my brother. Jaden, Kai, ( Jaden's younger brother ) my sister Aerin, and I all were young and foolish. Also the tiniest bit clumsy.
We, Jaden, Kai, Aerin, my Mom, Jaden's Dad, and I went to go see the fireworks. First we all stopped to get ice cream. On our way back to the car, My Mom, and Kai fell behind. The rest of us kept walking towards the car. According to my mom Kai tripped over a hose and did a series of summer salts, while still holding his ice cream. Freeze. I know what you're thinking. He dropped his ice cream. Now lets go back to the story. While Kai was tumbling, he held his ice cream in the air and nothing spilt!!!
One of those miracle moments everyone hopes will happen to them.

The Whole Middle School Craziness

Some people may think that because I'm writing this post I am scared about what middle school I get into, which is a little true, but still. Aren't you kind of?
As my teacher says, May is a very emotional month. Every body is splitting up ad going there own ways. Okay, now I'm starting to sound like one of those talk shows I like to make fun of. Anywayz lots of my friends got excepted to East Side Middle yesterday. I still don't know if I'd rather go to Wagner S.P. or East Side. Crazy right?
And again I will quote my teacher Ms. Binkowitz. We all end up where we end up.

Homework

Whats the point of homework if you do the same thing in school??
It's a waste of time and if you really think about it, homework just creates more work for the teachers. Come on. If it's a nice day out, do you really want to be inside grading homework? Do you really think WE want to be inside??

Feeling Sick...

Have you ever eaten something and then felt like you wanted to vomit after wards?
I get that feeling a lot. Recently I ate something and I ate the rest of it. I feel very sick now. Actually this could probably be solved with water... but my point is that some things won't have the solution right in front of them. Sometimes you need to search. A lot of people realize that when it's to late. I don't know who DOESN'T get that feeling every once in a while but I get it almost daily. Talk about annoying.

A Certain Person

Lately I have been hating a lot of people. One person recently got on my nerves.
She made it into my people I hate box. I only have a people I hate box because my sister was to cheap to buy me something from a store. Anywayz that box has come in handy on countless occasions. Right now I'd like to throw something at her. I hope it hits her. Then there's another girl and we haven't had such a pleasant year together. At all. She also had the achievement of getting into my people I hate box. The same day we stopped fighting. Bravo. Excellent achievement. Normally people clap when someone does something like getting the best grades ever or getting the highest score on a test. Or even when you blow out the candles at your sweet sixteen. I applaud stupidness.

Things I Hate # 2

  • My new table
  • Assigned seating
  • Homework
  • People who try to worm things out of you
  • People who think there making the problem better when there making it worse
  • Adults that snoop
  • People who annoy me
  • People who lie right to my face
  • A lot of people
  • The computer I'm writing on
  • People who accuse you
  • When my siblings turn the music really high
  • When I miss a call
  • People who say there busy so they don't have to hang out with you

Daniella, in Honor of Mother's Day

Daniella is my awesome some baby-sitter who's like an older sister to me.
She's been baby-sitting us since I was five. She is funny, smart, talented, and a little bit crazy. She is the best. I wish we could spend much more time together. ( This is for you, D. )
Yes we can! It is not going much further than that.  :  )

Copying is the Sincerest Form of Flattery, NOT!!!!!!

This post is about people, who no matter how hard they try, cannot be themselves. Say you take up a hobby or whatever and then you tell your friend about it. A couple days later you go over to your friends house and she says " hey! I have a new hobby! Cooking!" Which, by the way was YOUR hobby. It is so annoying. Certain People believe that copying is the sincerest form of flattery. They are absolutely wrong.  Parents or other grownups are absolutely wrong.

Doing Things Your Parents Want to do on the Weekend

My parents are forcing me my sister and brother to go to some place Pocantico Hills. Not my idea of fun. I have an hours worth of homework to do to practice for the silly test coming up. It seems all we have is ELA homework. I'm at the point where I'd rather do math!! Anywayz Pocantico Hills is some naturey place where you walk like a total of two miles to get something to eat and along the way you see nature and animals as my parents put it. I personally don't want to walk a stinkin two miles to get my Snapple. Or to use the bathroom. My allergies are bad enough in the city, what are they gonna be like out there?

    My Trip to Washington D.C.

So I made it back from Washington D.C. alive. It was actually pretty fun. We went with my cousins Ezra who's 13, Isaiah who's 11, and their little sister India who's 8.
We left Wendsday morning and got in at about the afternoon. 7 long hours in a hot minivan with torture next to me. We stopped at 2 rest stops along the way. Had some of the best fries of my life.
When we finally got to Washington D.C. it was 90  degrees!!  I about fainted from the heat.  We went to dinner that night and as usual my food came last so I wasnt hungry but i have to tell you  the chicken i ordered was some of the best chicken i have ever eaten. I decided to eat it anyway. The next day we went to Mount Vernon. For dummy's thats George Washington's home. My cousin India came with us instead of my brother. Later that night my entire family and cousins walked by a river that had flooded so we could only see the bottom of the river. My brother  pointed out a tennis ball that he had accidently thrown in while playing catch. My cousin Isaiah climbed onto a shorter pole and started dancing as much as he could on a pole that was half the size of his shoe. His sister climbed on and so did mine. Lastly I climbed on. My little brother tapped Isaiah's shoe and he started wobbling like crazy, almost falling backwards. The next day we went on the tour of the White House. We stood outside in 39 degree weather and pouring rain. I know I know I should be thankful I got to go, but seriously....   it was annoying. My Aunt Marrianne couldn't get into the White House so she left and went back to the hotel. Well, because she was my source of warmth i was left freezing my butt off. One White House room was bigger then my apartment. Apparently thats where they put the presidents that were assasinated, bodies. Thankfully they left after being put in the room to go to the graveyard. After the tour our cousins left and we went to a bakery for my moms birthday. The bakery we went to was called The Corner or something like that... so it was pouring rain i had on a thin sweater and leggings. Great outfit for pouring rain. Wouldnt you agree? We went to two museums after that. While we were walking to the Air and Space museum, my shoe decided to rip. my socks got all wet. Yes i said socks. Both shoes ripped. We got to the Air and Space museum, much better museum then the other one we went to, and i am sloshing in puddles. My entire sock is wet. Because I'm complaining so much my mom sits me down and takes off my shoes. She wraps my feet in plastic so now I'm slipping and sliding everywhere in my shoes. Thank G-d  we went back to the hotel after that. Then we went for a birthday dinner for my mom. That place was so fancy with such bad burgers. Good mashed potatoes though. We went home the next day. I will never forget this vacation.

    Things I Hate

    I'm just gonna list things.
    • Loose teeth- they hurt like h***!!!
    • When people where skirts and pants at the same time- where pants or a skirt lady, one or the other!
    • People who think there better then you
    • Trips to the dentist- do they sign a pact to annoy you?!?
    • Homework- we spend 6 hours at school, if we didn't have to do homework then teachers would have less of a work load and kids would be able to relax!
    • Nose bleeds- I need my blood and my second hand
    • LOOSE TEETH- I'm saying this twice on purpose
    • People who brag like their life depends on it
    • The word procedure

    Interesting Drink

So today my friend came over and we got salads for lunch at Tal Bagels.
An hour later and a ton of homework, ( thanks a lot teachers!) she still hasn't finished her salad.
Jokingly I ask her if she wants to blend it up and drink her salad. She shrugs and says yes. We get out the blender and pour some of her salad in. We add water and hit the button that says purify. One minute later we have a vomit green "smoothie." We get two straws from the kitchen and count to three. We each take a disgusting sip. I gag and move to throw it out. She puts her hand out to stop me, takes out her phone and snaps a picture. I look at her like she's crazy. She is crazy. That was the most interesting drink I have ever had!!! I know one thing, salads do not make good smoothies... I wonder if the combo mango and grapefruit works?

    Going to Washington D.C.

    Going to Washington D.C.
Taking a tour of the White House...
Sadly I'm driving there so I'll be wedged in the car between my two siblings. Gag Me.
I'll be meeting my cousins there. I don't no if i should be happy or not.
    Probably happy...
Back to taking a tour of the White House. Maybe I'll meet the president...
    Wishful thinking never works.

    Annoying Things

Making my bed and washing dishes are high up there but the most annoying thing in my opinion?
    CLEANING MY ROOM!!
Especially when my sister made the mess. I have a friend who's a complete neat freak. Cleaning her room is no sweat. Mine? I'm surprised my door opens.
